The international meeting of organic wines and beers
The Largest Global Organic Wine and Beer Competition
Created and managed by Sudvinbio, an interprofessional association representing organic wine producers and marketers in the Occitanie region, the world contest fo organic wines and beers, the official competition of the Millésime BIO trade fair, is the largest global competition for organic wines and beers.
Established in 2007, it now features over 2,000 organic wines from all around the world. Every year, more and more organic producers from France and abroad register to participate in the most important organic wine tasting event in the world.
To preside over the jury of 450 professional tasters, we are honored this year to welcome Jérôme Gagnez, founder of Vers Le Vin and wine columnist for On Va Déguster on France Inter. With over two decades of experience in the wine industry and recognized expertise in oenology, Jérôme Gagnez will bring a passionate and committed vision to this edition. A selection of his favorites will be made from the award-winning wines in February 2025.
"I have been coming to the Millésime Bio trade fair for nearly 25 years, which I consider to be one of the best wine fairs out there. I am very happy and honored to be the president of the Millésime Bio Challenge 2025. This competition is an exceptional platform to showcase the diversity and quality of global organic production. As a passionate advocate for organic viticulture, I am proud to participate in this adventure that highlights the commitment of organic producers and the importance of their work for a sustainable future."

Our Objective: To Highlight Quality Organic Wines and Beers
- Organizing a Quality Competition
Each edition, we put our expertise at the service of the participants to offer a professional tasting experience that respects the products entrusted to us. An ideally lit tasting room, tasting equipment suited to the products, controlled storage and service temperatures, and carefully maintained bottle anonymity are part of our stringent requirements.
- Surrounding Ourselves with a Jury of Experts
We place great importance on the selection of our jury, as it defines the reputation of our competition and the value of the awards given to the wines and beers presented. We confidently organize each edition with a roster of competent tasters. The application of each new taster is reviewed by us and approved if it meets our selection criteria. It is important for us to mix highly knowledgeable amateur tasters with industry professionals to foster rich exchanges about the products being tasted.
- Offering Dynamic and Diverse Communication to the Winners
In addition to the communication materials provided to the winners (diploma, medals to be affixed to the labels of awarded products), the competition offers unparalleled communication through its synergy with the largest international organic trade fair, Millésime BIO, which includes wines, beers, and other alcoholic beverages.
This media exposure is complemented by the opportunity to be present in a dedicated tasting area for medal winners, set up in the heart of the trade fair, an event expected to draw nearly 11,000 professional buyers.
The winners' list is also communicated to a database of over 53,000 professional buyers (wine merchants, hotels, restaurants, retailers, distributors, supermarkets, exporters, wholesalers, etc.). The communication of the winners' list is further supported by both specialized and mainstream media outlets.
